The 3VX LEAGUE is committed to creating a positive, respectful, and safe environment for participants and spectators.
RESPECT - Treat officials, opponents, teammates, and facility staff with courtesy and dignity at all times, win or lose.
FAIR PLAY - Play strictly by the rules. No cheating, no intentional harm, and no dangerous or unsportsmanlike actions.
SPORTSMANSHIP - Win with humility and lose with grace. No taunting, trash-talking, or excessive celebrations.
SAFETY & WELL-BEING - Prioritize the health and safety of all participants. Absolutely no drugs, alcohol, or tobacco at any events.
POSITIVE ATTITUDE - Control emotions, eliminate profanity and abusive language, and help create an encouraging, supportive atmosphere for everyone.
PLAYER EXPECTATIONS:
Always play by the rules and follow the instructions given.
Control your behavior and emotions - no arguing with officials.
Encourage and support your teammates throughout the game.
Focus on improving fundamental skills and having fun.
COACHING EXPECTATIONS:
*This is a no-coach, no-coaching league. All participants play freely without formal coaching direction.
PARENT/SPECTATOR EXPECTATIONS:
Parents and spectators play a huge role in setting the tone. Please help by:
Acting as positive role models for all players.
Teaching and reinforcing good sportsmanship.
Cheering positively - avoid yelling at officials and players from your team and opposing teams.
Emphasizing skill development, effort, and enjoyment over winning.
PENALTIES & ENFORCEMENT:
* We maintain ZERO TOLERANCE for serious violations, including disrespectful behavior, abusive language, threats, or any harmful conduct. Consequences may include immediate removal, suspension, or expulsion from the 3VX LEAGUE.

Spectator Limit: 2-3 per player.
Entry fee: $3.00 Per player paid by Cash or Card
No Children playing/running in the parking lot for safety reasons.
GENERAL:
Certified officials will officiate each court. Any rudeness from parents, spectators, or players will result in removal.
A scorekeeper will keep team running scores. Individual points and fouls will not be tracked.
Standings are based on total running scores. Rankings will be posted on The Exposure App and/or www.3vxleague.com
SEASON FORMAT:
Games will be played on Friday evenings.
5-week season with 4 weeks of league play and championship games played on the 5th week.
Teams will play a minimum of 2 games per week for a total of at least 8. If needed, make-up games will be played on the 5th week before the championship games.
Team rosters will consist of 3-4 players max.
GAME FORMAT:
Full court continuous 3v3v3 on 71′ courts.
Games are 15 minutes in length with a running clock.
Teams will have ~3 minutes on the court to warm up before their game.
Defense gets possession after a defensive rebound or steal. Offense is dead after this until their next turn on defense.
On all out-of-bounds calls, possession goes to the defense. Half-court is considered out of bounds. If the ball is tipped across half-court, possession goes to the original defensive team.
All jump balls, possession goes to the defense.
SCORING RULES:
Scoring by 2’s and 3’s, just like usual.
Domination Rule: Score and keep the ball up to 5 times in a row. On the 5th consecutive score, the team gets 3 extra points, and the defense takes over.
No need to take the ball out of bounds or check it up after a score.
No free throws are awarded.
Non-shooting defensive foul: 1 point to offense, retain possession.
Shooting foul: 2 points to the offense, retain possession. On a 3-pointer, 3 points to the offense, retain possession.
Offensive foul: 1 point to defense, immediate possession.
If a basket is made on a foul, the basket counts, an additional point is awarded, and the team retains possession.
Technical fouls: On the first technical foul, loss of possession and 2 points awarded to all opposing teams on the court. 2nd technical foul results in player removal for the remainder of the night and a suspension for the following week. If your team has only 3 players, they can choose to continue with 2 players or forfeit.
TRANSITION RULES:
Waiting defense can only defend up to half-court.
Substitutions are only allowed when your team is out or waiting on defense.
CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:
Teams in each division will compete in 2 20-minute games.
The top 3 scoring teams in each division will start the game on the court. The bottom-scoring teams will start off the court and under each basket until their turn.
The regular season top-scoring team in each division will have possession of the basketball to start the game.
The team in each division with the highest total cumulative points after both games have been completed will win the 3VX League Winter Championship.
CHAMPIONSHIP OVERTIME:
In the championship game, if 2 or more teams are tied in cumulative scoring at the end of the final regulation period, an overtime period will be played.
Only teams with tied cumulative scores will play in overtime.
If there are only 2 teams playing in overtime, defense can be played full court.
The first team to score 4 points in overtime will win the Championship.
If there is a tie for 2nd place. No overtime period will be played. Regular season cumulative points will be reviewed, and the team with the highest regular season cumulative points will be designated as the 2nd place winner.
CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS:
Each player on a championship team will receive a 3VX LEAGUE, JUST HOOPIN’ “LEGENDS” medal with a lanyard.
Each player on a 2nd-place team will receive a 3VX LEAGUE, JUST HOOPIN’ “Phenoms” medal with a lanyard.
